Once people had battled north and avoided Storm Goretti with its disruption on the roads the roaring fire in the hut was a welcome sight… along with tea and chocolate biscuits.
The early part of the meet was cold and windy on the tops. And the clear, bright views were fantastic.
Sunday heavy rains meant a trip to Ambleside for some – gear shopping of course.
