It was a lovely day on a Tuesday in May for a very different club walk. The weather was sunny but with a slight breeze. Six of us joined Sheila on a leisurely walk at Knepp Rewilding Project with various stops to take in the views, read the information notices scattered around and climb up to the tree platforms.
We were lucky and spotted this stork nest during our walk. The path here is diverted at the moment so you cannot get too near the nest, but it was easily seen on an exposed part of an oak tree.

We all finished off with a drink from the catering van situated in the Knepp open cafe area….dinner in the Michelin star restaurant will have to wait for another time!!
