19-21 January: Winter visit to Rhyd-ddu

Another visit to the Oread MC hut at Rhyd-ddu, this time shared with the Southern Trekking and Mountaineering Club (STMC). That’s Sandy’s club and we thought it was worth joining forces for a winter weekend. Those who have been there will know that this is a really well-placed hut for hill walks from the door in several directions, including one of the best routes up Snowdon which the organiser didn’t find too hard on a previous January trip.
