Sandy’s turn to do this one.
Starting from Gomshall station car park (grid ref TQ 089 478), which still has free parking, at 10.10 am to allow people to arrive on the 1003 train. Route: via Hoe and Hurt Wood to Holmbury Hill, Holmbury St Mary, Leith Hill and back to Gomshall by Abinger Roughs.
Distance: 14 miles, or 22km for those more metrically minded.
