Day walk on 27 April

Lesley will be leading this one – a circular 10 mile walk through wooded areas of South West Surrey easily reachable by train as well as by car. Taking in Hydon’s Ball and the quaint villages of Hascombe and Hambledon. There should be plenty of bluebells lining much of the route as well as spring lambs in the fields. Bring a packed lunch for a picnic in either the grounds of Hascombe church (very quaint inside) or on the village green. Meet at Witley Station (post code GU8 5TB). Parking is free on Saturdays. There is a train from Clapham Junction at 09.22am arriving at Witley at 10.10am for those wishing to use public transport so we are aiming for a 10.15am sharp start.
