This booking is rolled over from a cancelled meet last January: a small club hut, Fallcliffe, www.ulgmc.org.uk/huts/fallcliffe which I gather is a nostalgic venue for some in the club. We follow the British Mountaineering Council’s guidance on risk, responsibility, duty of care and liability. These guidelines require us to ensure that everyone involved in club activities is aware and accepts that those perceived of as in charge, or leading walks, are not necessarily qualified or technical experts. We are amateur hill-walkers or mountaineers with some experience who are happy to impart their knowledge. Any advice given be viewed with this in mind by the recipient.
