Thanks to Tony for the report and photos from Saturday –
Sandy’s day walk took a dozen of us for another welcome visit to the Chilterns, near High Wycombe. On parking at Saunderton station we encountered a chap looking a bit lost having travelled there by train on the wrong Saturday to meet a walk with a different club. In the end he was happy to be kidnapped by NKHC and seemed to enjoy our company enough to ask about membership.
In early spring-like weather we took in Naphill Common, Hughenden Manor, and the Hellfire Caves. Great views from the Dashwood Mausoleum were followed by debriefing over a pint back at The Golden Cross.
