Langley Vale in summer

Chris has provided another of a few reports on some more local walks during the time we were allowed out between lockdowns . . .

Two from the club and a friend joined him on a very pleasant 10 mile walk from Tattenham Corner over the Downs to Wailton on the Hill and on via Headley Heath and Cherkley Wood to the Langley Vale Centenary Wood site, before returning to the start. Highlights of the walk were a cream tea at about 11 a m in Walton as well as a very steep hill up to Cherkley Wood and the interesting World War 1 exhibits at the Centenary Wood site.
