14-16 April 2023: Lakes – Patterdale

An overdue return to the brilliantly situated George Starkey hut (see website) in Patterdale, which aims to recreate the ambience of a traditional alpine hut (it is co-owned by the Alpine Club and Swiss Alpine Club) but has been substantially refurbished since our last visit.
