Day walk on Sunday 27 November – Haslemere

Stuart and Linda are leading a not overly strenuous, but scenic 14km walk through some of the most attractive woodland and heathland Surrey and Sussex have to offer. It will start from Haslemere Station with a possible lunch stop in Fernhurst, or for those who prefer, plenty of opportunity for a personally prepared lunch break, at about 8km. Easy woodland in the morning, followed by a moderate ascent to Black Down (highest point in Sussex at 280 metres.) in the afternoon.
