Day walk on Friday 3 September – Horsley Diamond Jubilee Trail

Stuart and Linda will be leading a 9 mile walk through the Surrey countryside (HORSLEY DIAMOND JUBILEE TRAIL) starting at East Horsley Station and taking in The Forest, Effingham Common, Great Ridings Wood, Oldlands Wood, Effingham Forest and Sheepleas. The walk is not strenuous but it is likely to be muddy in a number of places and appropriate footwear is recommended.
The terrain is primarily ancient woodland, forestry but with some farmland, common land and wild flower meadows.
Packed lunches will be required.
We will meet at the station car par park around 10.30 so as to set at 10.45.
