We had an excellent weekend based at the Rucksack Club hut in the Duddon Valley. A fair number of us got a walk in on Friday afternoon on Crinkle Crags or Pike o’Blisco. On Saturday most people walked up Coniston Old Man from the hut and traversed over the intervening tops to Grey Friar and back by Seathwaite Tarn, in superb weather. Harter Fell was attacked by various routes on Sunday, but two or three people staying on an extra night headed for the Scafells. They have been seen again.
