Courtesy of Tony this is a public thanks to Adrian for organising another excellent NKHC club week to Glen Shiel Lodge in the NW Highlands.
Despite the trip being cancelled twice due to covid, he negotiated with new operators, and got them to honour our booking at the original price and week.
Some persistent rain, high winds and ever changing forecasts made planning and walking difficult this year, but several Munros were bagged nevertheless, and much of the surrounding area also explored.
We ate in handsomely each night and, while the rest of the UK sweltered, evenings were enjoyed around the big log fire.
So thanks must also go to everyone else who shopped, chopped, cooked, cleaned up, washed up, drove, planned walks and navigated etc etc to make it an enjoyable and successful week.
