Chris led a great 10½ mile walk around Ashdown Forest, the highest part of the Weald, with excellent views to the South Downs in the morning, and to the North Downs in the afternoon. The walk included extended stops at the Visitors Centre (very interesting history of the land ownership), The Hatch Inn (good local beer), and the memorial to AA Milne at another viewpoint, just above Piglets Car Park where we left our cars. Weather better than expected with sunny spells and no mud!
