A party about 12 had three days of non-stop sunshine in the Lakes on 23-25 February, when we stayed at Stair in the Newlands Valley. Skiddaw and much of the Grasmoor range were among the summits visited, with a few snow patches to add to the fun. Good hospitality in the pub at Swinside, and a trip to a rather loud curry house in Keswick on Saturday night for some of us.
