The visit here in March 2020 went so well that we have booked it again. The venue is Carlswark Cottage in the village of Stoney Middleton, near Baslow in the Peak district. Handily placed for great walks along the Froggatt, Curbar and other edges and within striking distance of most of the Dark Peak. And a good pub just across the road. Chris is leading this 9.5 mile walk from Shamley Green, visiting Hascombe with its pond, lovely 16th and 17th Century cottages and pub, the White Horse Inn, for a possible drink. Day walk on 9 April – South Downs/Goodwood

Bill will be leading the April day walk on Saturday the 9th in the South Downs Way and Goodwood area. 9.00 am for a 9.30. start as the starting car park gets busy later. It's a converted water mill on a working farm in the Barle river valley, near the Two Moors way and Exe Valley Way. Extra nights available on request nearer the time. RESCHEDULED FROM 2020 – The Club is returning to Glenshiel Lodge (see website here) where we have had a couple of successful weeks in the past. We have had to move the booking again from 2021. Note this is a Sunday-Sunday booking. Glenshiel Lodge is just to the south of Shiel Bridge in Kintail, literally in the shadow of the famous Saddle and Five Sisters of Kintail. Day walk on 16 July – Chilterns

Paul will be organising a day walk in the Chilterns on Saturday 16 July. It is a 10-mile circuit, roughly between Wendover and Princes Risbourough. We will follow parts of the Ridgeway Trail and the Icknield Way and will take in some nice views from the top of Whiteleaf, Beacon and Coombe Hills.
